CS:GO Update Securing your position: Update

In late November we introduced (для просмотра ссылки, пожалуйста авторизуйтесь или зарегистрируйтесь), a feature that protects your in-game items if you are unable to secure your account with the (для просмотра ссылки, пожалуйста авторизуйтесь или зарегистрируйтесь).

We’ve had some time to gather data, and on March 9th we’re making a few more changes to account security, market transactions, and account restoration. For details on the changes and the reasoning behind them, click (для просмотра ссылки, пожалуйста авторизуйтесь или зарегистрируйтесь).

Here’s a summary of what’s going to change on March 9th. Note that if you’re already protected by the Steam Guard Mobile Authenticator, the first two points below won’t impact you:

— Trade hold duration will be increased to 15 days (for long-time Steam friends the duration will remain 1 day)

— Listing on the Steam Community Market will have a hold of 15 days before an item can be sold

— Steam Support will no longer restore items that have left accounts following a successful trade or market transaction (a process that previously created duplicates of original items)

In addition to securing your account, adding the Steam Guard Mobile Authenticator will ensure that you’re ready to continue trading and marketing items when the changes take place next week.
